Zoo educators will bring a variety of animals and share facts about where they live, what they eat, and their special adaptations. This program is fun for the whole family! In partnership with the Georgia Commission on the Holocaust and the Georgia Public Library Service, Forsyth County Public Library is proud to host a touring banner exhibit visiting public libraries statewide to preserve the memory of the Holocaust and to promote public understanding of the history. Georgia’s Response to the Holocaust: Survivors and Liberators is an exhibit that examines the stories of courage of Holocaust survivors and liberators who were or became Georgia citizens. Grab your goggles and prepare to dive into a magical, water, wonderland. Alongside Captain Tater Tot, you will become mesmerized by a colorful cast of zany sea creatures who perform unbelievable circus acts! In a nearly wordless performance, Lee Bryan, “That Puppet Guy”, casts his net of music and pantomime to reel in this fishy little tale of an ocean odyssey. Watch what happens when a group of curious sea creatures discover a lost trunk of circus props on the ocean floor. You will be “hooked” as soon as the adventure begins!

Discover Science Center is an informal science education enrichment center whose purpose is to supplement the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) curriculum taught in K-12 schools and homeschool programs through engaging hands-on science activities. Their programs are developed by scientists and educators, and take advantage of kids' natural fascination with science.
