Phase I: Resumption of Some Services
Over the past week we have distributed holds that were in the building when we had to close to the public in March. This process of curbside pickup has worked out well and we were able to distribute over 300 holds to some very happy patrons.
The next step in our plan is to enable patrons to request items available in our library buildings, and pick them up in a safe and contactless manner.
Library Staff are taking appropriate precautions such as wearing masks and gloves at all times; frequently washing their hands; cleaning the building and work surfaces more frequently; and social distancing when inside the building.
We are eager to move forward and create a new and safe way to provide services to the citizens of Warwick. In the meantime, read on to learn about what we have been working on behind our closed doors.
