Library Love Letters
Share your favourite memories of the Castlegar & District Public Library! 
 
The Castlegar & District Public Library is 50 years old this year! To celebrate, we're inviting patrons and community members to write the library a love letter. Come to the library to pick up a letter writing kit, have fun reminiscing about the library and decorating your letter, then mail your letter back to the library! 
 
The letters will be included in a display at our 50th anniversary celebration on September 28th. We hope to see you there!

Registration is required for all programs. Come on down to the library or give us a call at 250-365-6611 to register. We will also be at the Parade of Programs at the Castlegar & District Recreation Complex on September 11th from 5 to 7 pm if you would like to register then.

Are you a teen in grades 8-12 looking for volunteer experience?
Become a Big Buddy in our Reading Buddies Program! Big Buddies meet regularly throughout the year with their Little Buddies between grades 2-4 to help them practice their reading skills. We'll have a Big Buddy Orientation on September 17th—call or drop by the library to register!
