Welcome to the 2025-26 Winter Stitch-Along!
What is a Stitch-Along?
A stitch-along is a mystery cross-stitch pattern where new parts of the design are released each week. This is an asynchronous program where everyone stitches at their own pace. We'll send out the first piece of the pattern next Sunday, December 14. Below you will find a list of the materials needed to create your project.

What do I need to participate?
You can find the materials list and other helpful hints here. That document includes information on Aida cloth sizes and all of the DMC thread numbers. You should be able to easily find all of these colors in craft stores, but there is a link included if you need to make a substitution.

Week 1
This year's stitchalong is a little different: we're not going to have a frame this year. Instead of boxes with different images in them for each week, all of the patterns for the entirety of the project will make a single image together.

Click the link below to download the PDF. The second page shows the full pattern and all the pages after that show the close-up view of the same pattern, which is split between a few pages. It is important to only stitch the design once. Please also note that the first piece of the design is slightly lower than the center of your piece, so adjust accordingly to ensure you have enough space later.

As always, feel free to tag us on Instagram or Facebook @AskElmhurst or respond to this email with pictures of your progress.

Happy stitching!
Jez
