The first book in a highly original and clever new crime series featuring Queen Elizabeth II as an amateur detective who solves crimes in secret and behind the scenes, in between her royal duties (from the publisher)

It really is clever and exciting. Indeed, as a queen, one must be subtle in one's involvement in a crime investigation—and refer to oneself as "one." Plus, horses and corgis and "dorgis" - a Dachshund crossed with a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Who knew?
