Udemy offers over 10,000 on-demand online video courses for free with your library card. You can find self-paced courses on subjects like programming, business, marketing, photography, personal development, languages, and even music, art, and yoga instruction!

Gale Courses is being provided for a limited time. Free access to the online learning platform with your library card will end on December 31, 2023.

The Karl Junginger Memorial Library in Waterloo participated in a Dementia Friendly Business training session through the Jefferson County ADRC.
Over 50% of the library staff are trained on how to recognize dementia symptoms in individuals and how to interact in a positive manner with these individuals to help them feel safe in their community.

The Irvin L. Young Memorial Library in Whitewater received praise from a happy patron for offering so many fun opportunities

Watertown Public Library welcomed Amber Sawyer and her racehorses Derek and Splitsville to read their book "Love to Race." Many families joined the fun and loved the story and the horses!

Happy Anniversary |
|
Happy 130th anniversary to one of the oldest libraries in the state! Oconomowoc Public Library progressed from a private association in 1870 to a public library in 1893.

| I Scream, You Scream |
|
Young readers will be able to earn a coupon for free ice cream just by checking out books at the L.D. Fargo Public Library in Lake Mills.
From September 5 - October 31, patrons PreK - 12 Grade can get a free ice cream after earning five punches on their punchcard.

Delafield Public Library's friendly octopus mascot, Booker, responds to kid's questions with hand-written notes posted on their bulletin board.
Booker is an expert on the ocean environment. He answered questions on fish and shells!
