Be Eclipse Ready

The partial solar eclipse is coming up on Monday, April 8. Witness this cosmic event safely and in style with free eclipse glasses from one of the Bridges Library System member libraries (while supplies last). Or join one of the Eclipse Viewing Parties for added fun.

Come enjoy special storytimes featuring a B93.3 FM's on-air radio personality. Enjoy stories, movement, snacks and prizes while we read. No registration required. Just drop in!

Spring Outside For Reading Fun

Warmer weather calls for reading outdoors! These cute children's books are a great way to combine physical activity with family literacy. Read while you walk, stroll, hike or roll.

  • Bridges Library System's Story Hike with Retzer Nature Center in Waukesha is featuring "Crow, Not Crow" by Jane Yolen and Adam Stemple.

  • Dwight Foster Public Library's StoryWalk® in Ralph Park in Fort Atkinson is featuring "What's New, Daniel?" by Micha Archer.

  • Hartland Public Library's Storytrail along the Ice Age Trail is featuring "The Wish Tree" by Kyo Maclear.

  • Jefferson Public Library is featuring "Dog's Messy Day" by Emma Dodd at the Meadow Springs Conservancy by Stoppenbach Park.

  • Karl Junginger Memorial Library's Story Trail in Waterloo is featuring "Mañana, Iguana" by Ann Whitford Paul.
