Brien recently sat down with his mother, Jean, to record a conversation with the help of staff at Waukesha Public Library. Their story will be archived with StoryCorps and the Library of Congress for generations to come.
Following the recording, Brien sent us a note sharing, "I was momentarily overcome by emotion once home just thinking about how special the experience was... This has been a highlight of my decade!" He added, "I owe you my deepest gratitude."
~ Brien, patron at Waukesha Public Library
