Jungles are warm forests that are very densely vegetated at the forest floor. The undergrowth is so dense that it is hard to penetrate without cutting through it. Jungles usually surround rainforests that have grown. The great apes are native jungle animals.
FUN FACT: Jungles and rainforests are the oldest ecosystem on Earth and have been around for millions and millions of years.
