Grasslands are found in the dry interior of continents between the mountains and deserts and cover 25% of the Earth. Grasslands are the same thing as the North American Prairie, the Asian Steppe, the Savannahs and Veldts in Africa, the Rangelands in Australia, and the Pampas, Llanos, and Cerrados in South America.
FUN FACT: Every continent has a grassland except for Antarctica.
Grab a blanket or some chairs and join Miss Erin, Miss Katie, and Miss Lori in the park for an fun animal-themed storytime. Each week we will visit a different habitat and learn about the animals that live there with stories, songs, and lots of fun!
