TEENtoberThe American Library Association designates the month of October as TEENtober. To celebrate, we are opening a NEW Teen-Only Space at the Library: The Zone. Here teenagers can hang out, create, explore, play, connect, and be themselves! If you’d like to donate to help us furnish the new room, you can give through Paypal or donation boxes at the library. We would love for any 12-18 year old to vote on things you’d like to see in The Zone by filling out this short survey: TeenZoneForm

Beth Given - Works upstairs at the Reference Desk assisting patrons
- Has worked at the American Fork Library for one year
- Likes to eat burritos
- Likes to read nonfiction, especially narrative nonfiction and memoir
- Recommends Think Again by Adam Grant
- "I love libraries! I love the books, of course-including digital books I can access at home. I love that libraries are both a place to gather and build community as well as a place to be alone (reference desk pro tip: there are quiet carrels, tables, and study rooms upstairs). I hope everyone feels welcome at the library!"
