Board Books for Babies acquaints parents of newborns with the importance of reading together. When parents read to their baby, they help them develop language and literacy skills, even as newborns. Becoming regular library users as a family will start your baby on the path to success through reading and learning. 
 
Parents with newborns can come to the Library's Main Desk and receive a free Board Books for Babies kit, including:
  • Book bag 
  • Board book
  • Babies Need Words Every Day booklist
  • A bookmark with library resources
  • Nursery Rhyme booklet
  • Utah Kids Ready to Read Early Literacy tips
Board Books for Babies is sponsored by the American Fork Library, the Friends of the American Fork Library, and a grant from the American Fork PARC program.

Participate by parading your pet, watching the parade of adorable animals, adopting a new furry friend, and enjoying the booths and food trucks! Low-cost pet vaccinations will also available.
