Did You Know?
The library has Book Club Sets available to check out! There are currently 37 titles with topics ranging from adventure memoirs, bestselling fiction, historical nonfiction, and poetry collections. Each set contains 5 books, and includes resources like reading guides, author interviews, and supplemental materials. Sets check out for 6 weeks. See a complete list of titles ---> here. Look at the Book Club Set Calendar to see if a title is available. You can then request a set using the online Reservation Form or speak to a librarian at the Reference desk. Sets can be reserved 5 months in advance. Our titles are ever-expanding, and we always welcome requests and feedback.

EVENTS
Indie Author Day

Join us on Facebook Live as we introduce and celebrate some of our favorite local Indie Authors all day long! Videos will also be available on our YouTube channel. Saturday, November 7
Book Brigade Chain

In March of 2000, the city held a Book Brigade to move the books from the old warehouse location to the new library. Over 1,500 citizens participated. Help the Library recreate that historic event by adding a link to our CHAIN OF BOOKS. Write your favorite book (or two) on a strip of paper and it will be added to our chain. Let's see if we can reach 1,500 links!

Available all month long upstairs at the Reference Desk.

After-School Art--Puzzle Pumpkins

What can you do with a handful of puzzle pieces? You can turn it into a pumpkin of course! Kids 6-12 can join us for a fun pumpkin craft just in time for Thanksgiving. Register for the class, pick up your kit, then watch the instructional video at your convenience. Kits available to pick up on November 23 at the Children's Desk.

Did you know that the American Fork Library's current building turned 20 this year? We are celebrating during October, November, & December! Check our website and social media pages for more information.
