In observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the Falmouth Public Library and its Branches will be closed on the following days: Saturday, December 23rd Sunday, December 24th Monday, December 25th The Main Branch of the Falmouth Public library will also be closing at 5:30pm on Tuesday, December 26th and Wednesday, December 27th.

Children's Singalong Wednesday, December 27th, 11am-11:45am Children's Room Join us for a morning singalong event with Mashpee music teacher Lori Pilla, who will lead the group in singing traditional children's songs and folk songs. This event is aimed at children 4 to 9 but all are welcome! No registration is required; just come by the Children's Room!

Family Game Play Thursday, December 28th, 1:30pm-3pm Children's Room Come have some family fun playing board and card games! Drop-in anytime between 1:30pm and 3pm for a fun afternoon of playing family friendly games in the Children’s Room. Family Game Play is open to all ages but small children should be accompanied by an adult.

Family Friendly Friday Films - Elf Friday, December 22nd, 3pm-4:35pm Hermann Room Family Friendly Friday Films are open to all ages, but small children should be accompanied by an adult. "Raised as an oversized elf, Buddy travels from the North Pole to New York City to meet his biological father, Walter Hobbs, who doesn't know he exists and is in desperate need of some Christmas spirit." This movie viewing is free to the public and is supported by the Friends of the Falmouth Public Library. Registration is required as seating is limited.

Fact & Fiction Book Club - The Stowaway Wednesday, December 27th, 10am-11am East Falmouth Branch "Documents the true story of a scrappy teen from New York's Lower East Side who stowed away on a daring expedition to Antarctica in 1928, tracing the sensational heyday of the time and how high schooler Billy Gawronski jumped into the Hudson and snuck aboard the expedition's flagship, eventually becoming an international celebrity."
