Hello South Country Community,
 
Thank you to all who gave to our donation-drives during the Great Give Back! The money raised from Pennies for Pets went to the Almost Home Animal Rescue in Patchogue, and the baby items collected were delivered to Lighthouse Mission in Bellport.
 
The Library will close at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 24, and will reopen on Friday, November 26 at 9:30 AM.

Family Holiday Movie & Pajama Party
Registration begins Wednesday, December 1

The Karpenteers: Christmas Collection Concert
Friday, December 3, 7:00 PM, in the Library's Community Room

The Karpenteers, well known for bringing you the very best music of the Carpenters since 2016, are back for a special holiday show.
Featuring some of the most popular holiday songs ever performed and recorded by the Carpenters from their much-loved Christmas Collection, the Karpenteers will fill your hearts with familiar holiday memories as well as the most popular Carpenters melodies of the '70s.

Get your holiday photos taken at the library! Choose from pre-selected backgrounds. Each family will receive digital images via email.
 
No pets, please. Do not wear green as it will interfere with the screen technology. Photos will be taken by library staff, not professional photographers.

Our Give or Take Food Pantry
is located in the lobby, and available for those in need to obtain food items anytime the library is open.
We have a bin in the lobby where you can donate non-perishable food to help keep the pantry stocked. Thank you for your generosity!

Renew or Apply for a New Library Card on Our Website
South Country Library patrons may renew their card or apply for a new one online. Images of photo ID & address verification are required.
You can also visit our Patron Services desk at the front for the same service.
Services for Veterans and Job-Seekers
Helps veterans and their families navigate the VA bureaucracy, provides academic tutoring, and assists with employment transition.
Provides various tools to help with every step of the job search including résumé assistance, interview preparation, and career planning.
Both above services provide live virtual assistance every day
from 2:00 - 11:00 PM. A current library card is required.
