The Library & This Year's Tax Season
The library has copies of the Federal 1040/1040-SR booklet, which includes Schedules 1-3. We now have New York State tax forms. All of these are located by the Reference Desk.
 
There will be no in-person AARP Tax-Aide services in the library this tax season. Click here to read our full notice with more information.

Join Amy Baires, social work intern from Stony Brook University and trained COVID counselor for this virtual weekly session.
 
Amy will provide emotional support, educational materials, and trusted referrals to those affected by the pandemic. No registration required.
 
Our Give or Take Food Pantry
is located in the lobby, and available for those in need to obtain food items anytime the library is open.
We have a bin in the lobby where you can donate non-perishable food to help keep the pantry stocked. Thank you for your generosity!
 
Renew or Apply for a New Library Card Online
 
South Country Library patrons may now renew their library card or apply for a new card on our website. Images of photo ID and address verification are required.
 
The Library has a Notary Public

Social Work Services
 
Amy Baires is our social work intern from Stony Brook University. She can help with information, referrals, and paperwork for housing, treatment, social services, unemployment, food pantries, and more.
