Outdoor Concert The Ronald Reagans Big '80s Show Friday, June 2, 7:00 - 8:15 PM in the library's parking lot. Free, no registration required!

From the big hair to the bodacious costumes, The Ronald Reagans take their audiences back to the most radical decade ever...the 1980s! The Big '80s Show is a family-friendly performance of the most authentic, note-for-note recreations of the chart-topping pop, new wave, and rock hits of the '80s.

on display in our gallery for the month of June South Country Peace Group (SCPG) is celebrating 40 years of peacemaking activities. Their display in our downstairs gallery during June will include photos, headlines, an iconic Peace Pole, and a wooden dove sculpture. SCPG formed in 1982, stirred by growing threats of nuclear destruction. Stop by any time the library is open in June to view their display and learn more about them. |

The Library offers free passes to select museums on Long Island & in NYC. We also provide access to discounted tickets to the Long Island Aquarium,the Bronx Zoo, and Splish Splash water park.

NEW print-on-demand passes: the Harbes Barnyard Adventure, and Sagtikos Manor (reopens in June). Passes may be booked 30 days in advance. Click here and use the drop-down menu to choose these or other destinations.

Sign Up to be a Literacy Volunteer Are you interested in helping an English speaker learn to read and write? The Library is looking for volunteers with instructional experience who would like to open countless doors for someone else by offering the gift of literacy. Interested persons should complete this application and contact Jack in the Reference Department at 631-286-0818 ext 1.

South Country Library patrons may renew their card or apply for a new one online. Images of photo ID & address verification are required. Or visit our Patron Services desk at the front of the library for the same service.

Passport Services by Appointment We serve first-time applicants, minor applicants, adult applicants whose most recent passport was issued as a minor, and applicants who have lost their passports.
|
|
Hours are by appointment only. You may also call us at 631-286-0818 x1. Our service cannot renew a passport. Printed forms are available by the Reference Desk.

The Library has a Notary Public Available Mondays through Fridays (subject to change). Please call (631) 286-0818 for more information. Fee: $2.00 per notarized signature

Services for Veterans and Job-Seekers
|
|
Helps veterans and their families navigate the VA bureaucracy, provides academic tutoring, and assists with employment transition.
|
Provides various tools to help with every step of the job search including résumé assistance, interview preparation, and career planning.
|
|
Each service provides live virtual assistance every day from 2:00 - 11:00 PM. A current library card is required.
