Message From Our Director! |
I would like to wish a very happy and sunny May to you all. We have sustained our fair share of April showers and I, for one, am ready for those May flowers! If you're ready for some new spring growth then you need to check out our herb garden program. With the warm weather in mind, we added a number of new museum pass discounts to our museum pass program and are highlighting a few here in our newsletter, so be sure to check those out below. Whatever your interests this spring, we at the Avon Public Library have something for you and we look forward to seeing you this month!

Seed Bombs |
Seed bombs are an environmentally friendly, fun, and easy way to grow flowers! What exactly is a seed bomb? A seed bomb is a small cluster of soil and wild flower seeds that help bring life and color to a neglected area. Planting these seed bombs are extremely easy, too! You can simply throw them into an area, or poke them into the soil lightly and let them grow. That's it!
Be sure to stop in the library to pick up your own seed bomb take and make kit, which comes with all the supplies and instructions you need to get started. Happy planting! |
