Emoji Keychains

Come get creative. Make your own emoji keychain. Library staff will guide you in creating these useful trinkets using fuse beads, emoji patterns, key rings, and metal clasps. There will be multiple smiley patterns to choose from.

Do you have the strategical skills to be a Connect 4 champion? Then be a contestant in the library's first ever Connect 4 Tournament. You'll square off against other skilled opponents for a chance to win our grand prize, a $25 Target gift card. We have regular versions of the game, and a double sized version of the game for the final match. The final match will also be a 3 round blitz match.

Robot Habitats

Get a FREE HEXBUG robot

Wednesday, September 28, 2022 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Engineer a habitat for a HEXBUG Nano robot, and get your very own HEXBUG Nano to keep for FREE. These micro robots can scurry across any surface, flip themselves over, and change direction all on their own. Using common materials, you will learn how to design and construct a special habitat for your robot to explore and play. HEXBUG Nanos are fun, zany, and guaranteed to make you laugh and smile.

This STEAM based program is geared towards teens ages 12 and up.

Flexagon
Fidget Toys

Monday, September 26, 2022
5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
In the library Workshop


Learn how to make your very own flexagon fidget toy. A flexagon is composed of multiple tetrahedrons/pyramid shapes to form a large 3D hexagonal toy that folds upon itself. Every time you twist and fold your flexagon it reveals a new design in the center. You can design yours using hand drawn elements, or using dazzling holographic stickers. Flexagons will provide endless fidgety fun.

This crafting event is geared towards teens ages 12 and up.
