Recognized as "Jacobs" from Jacobs Pond, Jacobs Lane, or
the Jacobs Homestead, the Jacobs family was prominent in
Norwell. Henry Barton Jacobs, born June 2, 1858, grew up in
Norwell and graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1887.

The Mystery of the Beal Street Burial Tombs at Bare Cove Park, Hingham, MA. 1832 - 1932

In 1832, Hingham acquired a 43-acre parcel on Beal Street and erected it's third Almshouse. The sole remaining artifacts attesting to the lives of the individuals who once resided and died there are the desecrated tombs located in a wooded area close to a public walking trail and in proximity to the 2005 brutal murder of two homeless individuals perpetrated by two white supremacists.


Please join Jim Clarke and Julie Christian as they share their fascinating three year adventure trying to solve the mystery of where the large number of bodies were ultimately laid to rest.
