This month's take and make is a 3D Paper Snowflake. Those who register will have their craft kits put to the side for pick up at the circulation desk. This craft is intended for Teens. Adults and Children are welcome to sign up, but children will need assistance in assembly. Pick up your kit at the main circulation desk starting January 16th to January 20th.

Do you like talking about topics you're passionate about? Well join us for a fun afternoon full of presentations! These presentations can be made on any topic you want such as your favorite tv show, character in a fandom, favorite animal, favorite meme or what ever you wish, within good reasons of course! The YA librarian will also join in on presenting!
This is intended to be something fun so you don't have to take it seriously. If you don't want to make a presentation but want to watch you're more than welcome to still join.
Please try and keep your presentation to 5 to 10 minutes long (depending on how many sign-up, roughly 4-5 slides long). Your presentation must be made before the event or before you present. |

For January, we will be reading the non-fiction title We Crossed a Bridge and it Trembled : Voices from Syria by Wendy Pearlman.
Based on interviews with hundreds of Syrians conducted over four years across the Middle East, Europe, and the United States, it chronicles the war from its origins to its present horror, solely through the words of ordinary people transformed by its unfolding.
