Onslaught: The Wessagusset Incident |

Join Christopher Daley as he chronicles the arrival of the pilgrims at Plymouth and the beginnings of their colony as well as the little-known arrival of “Weston’s Men”, a group that began a colony in what is now the town of Weymouth, then known as Wessagusset. The presentation will examine the interactions of the Native Americans and the two English groups and the factors which led to the Wessagusset Incident of 1623. This will be followed by a discussion on the far-reaching after effects. |

Come learn to needle felt wool into cute little pumpkin decorations! Needle felting is an addictive art that uses a sharp barbed needle to turn fluffy wool into dense shapes. All supplies are included and you get to bring them home with you. No experience necessary, ages 11+. *Variety of colors of wool to choose from.*

Mindfulness practices based on the 7 attitudes from Jon Kabat-Zinn are woven throughout the class to facilitate the connection of the mind, breath, body, and spirit. All levels are welcome, with a focus on beginners and advanced beginners.
