Larry Guilmette's exhibit "Tea Leaves & Tattered Sails" will be on display from November 1st -30th.  On November 4th he will be in the Meeting Room from 1:30-3:30pm to meet and talk briefly about his work.  Registration Optional.

Onslaught: The Wessagusset Incident

Wednesday, November 8 
6:30 - 7:30pm

Join Christopher Daley as he chronicles the arrival of the pilgrims at Plymouth and the beginnings of their colony as well as the little-known arrival of “Weston’s Men”, a group that began a colony in what is now the town of Weymouth, then known as Wessagusset. The presentation will examine the interactions of the Native Americans and the two English groups and the factors which led to the Wessagusset Incident of 1623. This will be followed by a discussion on the far-reaching after effects.

The Felted Bee, Little Pumpkins: Teens Only!*

Wednesday, November 15
5:30 - 7:00pm

Come learn to needle felt wool into cute little pumpkin decorations! Needle felting is an addictive art that uses a sharp barbed needle to turn fluffy wool into dense shapes. All supplies are included and you get to bring them home with you. No experience necessary, ages 11+. *Variety of colors of wool to choose from.*


This program is intended for teens, but adults are welcome to sign up starting Friday November 10!

Mindfulness practices based on the 7 attitudes from Jon Kabat-Zinn are woven throughout the class to facilitate the connection of the mind, breath, body, and spirit. All levels are welcome, with a focus on beginners and advanced beginners. 

All you need is an open mind, yoga mat, and a towel or blanket (to roll for support as needed), and water.

The Miracle Club

Set in 1967, The Miracle Club (released in August) follows the story of three generations of close friends, Lily (Maggie Smith), Eileen (Kathy Bates), and Dolly (Agnes O'Casey) of Ballygar, outside Dublin, who win a pilgrimage to the sacred French town of Lourdes, the place of miracles that draws millions of visitors each year... Along the way, old wounds are reopened, forcing the women to confront their pasts even as they travel in search of a miracle.


Pizza dinner will start at 5:30pm. Feel free to bring a side dish to share. The film starts at 5:45pm.

The Tea Girl Of Hummingbird Lane by Lisa See.

In this stirring coming-of-age novel, a young Chinese woman finds purpose, passion, and the key to a new life in the tea-growing traditions of her ancestors.
