Movie Night, Independence Day (PG-13)
Monday July 3rd
5:00 - 7:45pm
Join us for a movie showing of Independence Day at 5:00pm in the Meeting Room. Snacks, Soda and Water will be provided to those in attendance! All ages are welcome, just be aware this movie is PG-13.
Ages 0-5 are welcome to join Marissa for 30 minutes of stories, participatory songs, and fingerplays that support early literacy. Registration is required. Please sign up for each week you are interested in attending.
Walk the library grounds while reading the picture book All Are Welcome by Alexandra Penfold.
Comedy Magic Show

Ed Popielarczyk presents his comedy magic show to delight, entertain, and amuse you! Hear stories for each trick and help Ed out with his magic. Lots of audience participation makes kids the stars. Ages 3 and up with caregiver. Registration required.
Register for your kit of a wooden picture frame and paint, and bring it home to decorate however you like! Each kit consists of one frame and a small selection of paint to get you started. Pick up your kit July 17-July 20 in the children's room.
Learn about inventors, thinking outside the box, and how if you can dream it, you can be it. For students entering grades 3-5. Registration required. Caregiver must remain in the building.
Can you find the summer reading characters hiding in the children's room? Complete the scavenger hunt and get a sticker while supplies last!
Teens
Take and Make: Fairy String Lights
Wednesday June 28th to Saturday July 8th
This month's take and make is a fairy string light craft. If you want more than the red, white and blue colors or to swap them out ask the teen librarian Brooke for different colors (Pink, Orange, Yellow, Light and Dark Green, Light Blue, Teal, and Purple). Those who register will have their craft kits put to the side for pick up at the circulation desk. This craft is intended for Teens and Adults, children are welcome to sign up but will need assistance in assembly. Pick up your kit at the main circulation desk starting June 28th until July 8th.

Join us in making tie dye t-shirts!! Ages 11 and older. Please be sure once you've signed up to email the YA Librarian Brooke at bvitagliano@norwell.ocln.org with your shirt size to have it available for you at the time of the event. This event will happen in the staff parking lot on the side of the building right before the story walk and shed.

Mindfulness practices based on the 7 attitudes from Jon Kabot-Zin are woven throughout the class to facilitate the connection of the mind, breath, body, and spirit. All levels are welcome, with a focus on beginners and advanced beginners.
