Library Month Contest! Did you know October is Canadian Library Month? Celebrate with us! Each week in October we will be posting a fun, multiple choice quiz on our social media. Guess the correct answers by commenting on the posts for a chance to win a prize!
Halloween Treat Tournament!
Vote for your favourite Halloween treats in this fun 4 week tournament! 64 treats will enter, but only one will be named the BEST Halloween treat.
Round 1 - Oct 4-9 Round 2 - Oct 11-16 Round 3 - Oct 18-23 Round 4 - Oct 25-30 Winner revealed on Oct 31st! All participants will be entered into a draw for a basket of candy
and a Bulk Barn gift card! One entry per person, per round. Open to all ages.
Come to the Farmer's Market! Find us at the Farmer's Market on Front Street in Trenton on October 16th from 8am till 1pm. Our Local History student, Jewels will be at the Market with some of our awesome resources. Come check out our booth and ask Jewels your questions.
Library swag will be available to purchase!
Tiny Art Show!
Pick up a mini canvas starting October 4th and design your own creation. Return your finished canvas to the library by October 27th to be included in our mini Art Gallery.
Art will be on display throughout November and members of the public can vote for their favourites. Designs with the most votes will win a small prize.
Teen Programs
Faux Stained Glass Pick up a free kit starting October 6th and make a painting that will look like stained glass!

Teen Book Club Pick up a free book, read it, and join us virtually for a fun discussion on October 26th at 6pm.

3D Paper Craft!
Autumn is here! Make a fall-themed 3D paper craft!
Kits available at both locations starting October 13th. While supplies last.
Cricut Basics Class
Learn how to make an existing cricut project and how to create your own simple designs. Create for yourself, your business or gifts for others.
This program is offered jointly by Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre, Quinte West Public Library and City of Belleville Recreation, Culture and Community Services and Gateway Community Health Centre.
Participants join us by telephone to connect with other individuals and to engage in a fun activity such as Games Galore, Word Fun, Chats or a Guest Speaker! It is as simple as calling the number and entering the conference code.
Beginner Computer Class Join us at the Trenton Branch of the library on October 20th and 27th at 10:30am for a beginner computer class. Seating is limited. Registration required. Call 613-394-3381 ext 3325 or email kristar@quintewest.ca
Get out and get social!
Get out of the house and engage in a fun activity safely with others! Join us for a social group in partnership with BQWCHC on October 12th and 25th from 10:30am to noon at the Trenton Branch of The Quinte West Public Library.
