NaNoWriMo! Did you know November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)?

Short Story Magazine
Be featured in our very first digital magazine!
Use one of our writing prompts to create a story up to 500 words or less. Stories will be published in a Quinte West Public Library digital magazine! A print copy will be available to borrow. Registration required. Submissions due November 29.

Tiny Art Show!
Art will be on display throughout November and members of the public can vote for their favourites. Designs with the most votes will win a small prize.

QWPL Kid's Book Drive We're looking for donations of new children's books in order to distribute books to children who may not otherwise own a book. This program promotes awareness of the importance of books in a child's life while supporting family literacy. Book donations will be accepted in both Trenton and Frankford from Nov 1-24 in order to be distributed through local social agencies throughout December. Drop off a new children's book at the library today!
Please note: Kid's programs will be run twice a week in order to accommodate more families while our spaces are limited. Please choose only one day to attend so that more people have an opportunity.
Children and their caregivers are invited to join us in person Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:15am for 30 minutes of stories, rhymes, and music. This fun program is a great way to teach early literacy skills to your youngster.
Babytime Babies and their caregivers are invited to join us in person Wednesdays and Fridays at 11am for 30 minutes of tickles, bounces, shakers, and board books.
After School Activities
Drop in after school for a fun activity that will be repeated twice a week. Please select only one day to attend. Activities include perler beads, snowglobes, and much more! For children 7+

This program is offered jointly by Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre, Quinte West Public Library and City of Belleville Recreation, Culture and Community Services and Gateway Community Health Centre.
