Good in Every Grain Kits
Friday, June 10th @ 11 am (PD Day)
Looking for a fun kids activity for the next PD Day? Come to the library on June 10th at 11 am for a story and to plant a grain growing kit! Kit comes with fun learning resources to take home. Limited kits available - registration required.
 
 
Intro to Yoga
Wednesdays @ 1:30 to 2:15 PM
Join us for light yoga sessions with certified Yoga Instructor Ellen Koennecke, of Yoga in the Sound.
Drop-in, by donation. Masks optional.
Located in the library auditorium.

TD Summer Reading Club Launch Party
Thursday, June 30th @ 2 to 4 PM
Join us at the Parry Sound Public Library on June 30th to sign up for the reading club and participate in fun activities!  By encouraging kids to read for pleasure (whatever, whenever and wherever they want), the TD Summer Reading Club promotes a love of reading.
Downtown Parry Sound StoryWalk®
July 5th to August 9th, 2022
A safe and fun summer activity for the whole family!  Begin your StoryWalk® at Parry Sound Public Library. Enjoy reading Sometimes I Feel Like a Fox, as you stroll from one page to the next!  This program is hosted by Parry Sound Public Library and is in partnership with the Parry Sound Downtown Business Association and the TD Summer Reading Club.

The Metamorphosis
of the Butterfly
Month of July
Come in to observe our Painted Lady caterpillars as they create their cocoons & begin their transformation into a butterfly! Follow the transformation on our Facebook & Instagram! Stay tuned for more updates on the butterfly release date

GBBR will go over some of the least popular local animals. You'll see that they're not so bad after all, and maybe even learn to love these not-so scary critter neighbors.

Come to the library for a magic show!  Experience surprises around every corner as well as a perfect mixture of comedy throughout routines that are sure to ASTOUND!
 

Kids' Yoga
Get kids bending, breathing, and stretching with playful yoga poses at the library with Ellen Koennecke of Yoga in the Sound.
 
Making Music with Alison
Have fun making music at the library with our fabulous volunteer Alison!
 

Tin Man Craft
Build your own Tin Man out of recycled materials!  Materials will be provided.
 
Vision Board
Use your creativity to put together a Vision Board to record future big dreams and goals!  
 

Adopt-a-Book at PSPL!
Adopt-a-book is a fun way to sponsor a book that the library may not be able to purchase without your help! It's a fantastic way to give back to your community, and get to read a shiny new book! It's a win-win!
