The Town of Parry Sound is seeking to appoint citizen volunteers to the Parry Sound Public Library Board to fill two vacancies. Send your letter of interest to Town of Parry Sound Municipal Clerk or mail/drop off at Town Office, 52 Seguin Street, Parry Sound ON P2A 1B4. Deadline: midnight on August 31, 2022.

WOW! We had 116 kids sign up for TD Summer Reading Club this summer! They collectively read 1153 books! Way to go!

PSPL Adult Literacy ProgramAre you new to Canada and would like help learning English? Sign up for PSPL Adult Literacy Program and be paired with a tutor. Tutoring takes place in the library on a time and date that works for both tutor and student. Resources are provided.

Knitting Club at PSPLEvery other Friday - September 23rd to December 2, 2022 at 11 am Come to Parry Sound Public Library for a social knitting club! Meet, mingle, and share tips and techniques with other local knitters. Bring your own project and supplies. Coffee and tea will be provided. Drop-in, located on the main level of the library (wheelchair accessible) .

Cultural Awareness Tuesday, Sept. 27th at 5:30 to 8 PM Join us to learn about and recognize cultural norms of other countries, learn how to help someone understand Canada's cultural norms, and help create a welcoming community for those moving here from other countries.
