What was the best movie or TV show you watched or favorite book you read this year? “Ted Lasso” - Nuvia “I just recently watched a show on Netflix called The Witcher. I also really enjoyed the movie Cruella.” - Lisa R. “Monarch of Glen Bogle” - Jen S. “My favorite book that I read this year was The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah. It's a historical fiction story about The Great Depression and how it affected the Texas Panhandle. It was especially interesting to me because I was living in the Texas Panhandle at this time. The story also mentions Nipomo several times which was surprising and interesting, because I wasn't aware of Nipomo's history relating to the Great Depression and how it related to the crops grown in Nipomo.” - Rosana “Best documentary - My Octopus Teacher on Netflix. Best TV Show- Only Murders in the Building on Hulu. Best book - Premeditated Myrtle - Cindie U. “The New Testament - Illuminated Scripture Journal” - Kathy “Love and Monsters was a great, underrated movie. Finally saw it about two months ago. My boss advised I read a book based off a similar premise so hopefully that will be available on BlackGold soon for me to read.” - Daniel “The best book I read this year was The Midnight Library by Matt Haig” - Savannah “The Crown” - Virginia “Book - The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah and movie (& book) - Nomadland by Jessica Bruder” - Mary
