With our new printing partner, Princh, you can now send your print jobs from anywhere and pick them up with ease. Print from your personal computer, laptop, tablet, or phone by visiting print.princh.com and entering code 106668. Once your job is sent, visit Grundy Library to pay and release your prints. The cost of printing is still .20 per page for black and white and .50 per page for color.

Family STEM Night: Astronomy Monday, March 11 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM The Library's Family STEM Night is taking you on a journey to the stars! This astronomy-themed event is perfect for families who are curious about the cosmos. We will explore lunar eclipses, study the stars, and discover the mysteries of the universe through fun, hands-on activities. You'll also have the opportunity to see real images from space. So, whether you're an aspiring astronaut or just have a passion for the stars, this Family STEM Night is sure to be a blast! Don't miss out on the chance to discover the wonders of the universe with your loved ones. This drop-in program is for families with children ages 2 and up; registration is not required.

All About Eclipses Wednesday, March 13 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM Join us when New Jersey State Museum’s Dr. Jacob H. Hamer shares why solar eclipses have inspired fear and fascination for thousands of years. His discussion will include the following topics: - History of man’s understanding of eclipses
- How people have been able to accurately predict eclipses for hundreds or even thousands of years
- Why eclipses happen (and why they don’t happen every month)
- Why eclipses are interesting to astronomers
- Overlap between solar eclipses and exoplanets
- And the upcoming April 8th total solar eclipse
Dr. Jacob Hamer is the Assistant Curator of Planetarium Education at the New Jersey State Museum. Jacob received a B.A. in Physics and in Mathematics from the CUNY Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College in New York City in 2017. While he was at Hunter College, he carried out research on galaxy evolution at the American Museum of Natural History. Jacob received his Ph.D. in Astronomy and Astrophysics at Johns Hopkins University in 2022. Jacob’s doctoral research focused on exoplanets. **Attendees can receive solar eclipse viewing glasses for themselves at the conclusion of this event**

Walking Club Tuesday, March 12 & 26 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM You’re invited to join the Grundy Walking Club! Participants meet at 1:00 pm on the second and fourth Tuesday (March, April, May & June) for a one-mile stroll around historic Bristol Borough. We will meet inside the Library on the north side of the building (Youth area) before venturing outdoors. Remember to dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes and sunscreen. Escorted by a staff member, Club members will enjoy the scenery of the nearby Delaware River, and the benefits of fresh air and exercise in good company. We’ll be striding the very streets walked by industrialist and U.S. Senator Joseph R. Grundy; Michael Dougherty, a U.S. Medal of Honor winner; and Averell Harriman, a ship manufacturer and WWII U.S. diplomat. A one-time 2024 signed waiver of participation is required to walk during these events. The waiver is available at each meeting date.

With every Fiero Code workout and mission you complete, you’ll unlock gear that you can use to customize your own avatar. You can also display your work in a custom portfolio and share your favorite projects with parents, teachers, and friends. You can also register to compete in up to three Fiero Code Challenges each year and submit your projects for a chance to win prizes. Through fun and exciting activities, you can learn coding languages such as: - Scratch

These sessions are for students in 3rd grade through adults learners. Attendees can bring their own laptop or Chromebook or use one provided by Grundy Library. These Code Club meetings are drop-in programs; registration is not required.

This enchanting movie follows Harry and his friends as they navigate their third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You won't want to miss out on the chance to watch this beloved movie with fellow fans, surrounded by the coziness of the Library. There will be snacks and crafts to round off the evening. Saturday, March 16 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Welcome to STEM Saturdays at the Library - a monthly program that brings the thrill of science, technology, engineering, and math to your local library! Each month, kids can dive into hands-on activities that explore the wonderful world of STEM. This month we will be exploring technologies that take us under the waves to explore the ocean and its unique biodiversity. We will enjoy Virtual Field Trips, Underwater adventures on the PS5, and using Artificial Reality to explore the size of the Blue Whale. For youth in grades 2-8 and their parents. Art Class with Penelope Fox Art Studio Monday, March 25 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM Join us for an exciting art class at the library with Penelope Fox Art Studio to celebrate Student Art Month! Local artist Jina Dierolf will guide children in an introductory drawing class focused on how to draw a face. This hands-on class is perfect for aspiring young artists looking to develop their skills and explore their creativity. Art supplies for the class will be provided.
