Tax Forms @ Grundy Library
 
Select 2023 federal tax forms are available at the Grundy Library. Forms include:
  • 1040 U.S. Individual Income Tax Return
  • 1040-SR U.S. Tax Return for Seniors
  • 1040 (and 1040 SR) Instructions
Pennsylvania state tax forms are no longer
available at the Library.
 
Federal forms, instructions & publications as well as Pennsylvania state forms and publications can be downloaded and printed from home. The Grundy Library can print all forms for you at a charge of 20 cents per page (black & white).
 
Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program forms may be available through select locations. Information about tax preparation sites and electronic filing can be found here.

Lookout for Libby!
Monday, February 5
 
The Libby app is coming to Grundy Library on February 5th!
 
Through the Community Library e-Cooperative (CLE) of Bucks County, Libby will be available to patrons whose home libraries are Feasterville, Grundy, New Hope, Northampton, Pipersville, Southampton, and Warminster. (Bucks County Free Library patrons with home libraries outside of these locations will not be able to access Libby through this arrangement.)
 
Like our current electronic resources CloudLibrary and Hoopla, Libby will allow patrons to borrow and download popular adult eBook titles for use on their smartphones, tablets, and computers. Libby also allows readers to download titles to their Amazon devices, including the Kindle Paperwhite!

Formal Wear Drive

Third annual Grundy Library & Bristol Borough High School Formal Wear Drive. We will be collecting donations of gently used formal wear garments that students in Bristol Borough can wear to the Winter Dance and Prom.
Acceptable items to donate:
 
  • Dresses
  • Suits
  • Dress pants
  • Dress shirts
  • Unisex formal wear
  • Vests
  • Shoes
  • Accessories (purses, shawls, jewelry)
 
These items will be collected at Grundy Library and Jean Madeline Aveda Institute during normal business hours from January 22- February 3, 2024. Items should be clean and in good condition. We encourage donations of plus, petite, tall, husky, and nonbinary to help all students find something amazing.

One Pot Meals

Connect with your community
through a home-cooked meal!
 
This is a great opportunity for cooks of all ages, skill levels and interests to share their love of cooking while trying new recipes from the library’s cookbook collection.
 
Step 1: Register in-person, online here or by calling 215.788.7891
 
Step 2: Visit the Grundy Library and choose a recipe from among the four cookbooks selected for the discussion. You'll get a copy of your recipe and we'll keep a copy on-hand to avoid duplication.
 
Step 3: Lastly, make your recipe and bring it to the meeting!
 
While sampling and tasting the various foods, we will discuss techniques and any substitutions used in making the recipe.
 
The Library provides the plates, napkins & utensils. 
 
Pre-registration is required.

Finding Grants

The class highlights the 10 most important things participants need to know about finding grants, including: who funds nonprofits and their motivations; what funders really want to know about the organizations they are interested in funding; and how to identify potential funders and make the first approach.      
 
This class is brought to you in partnership with Candid, a nonprofit that helps other nonprofits serve their communities. As a Candid community member, we offer Candid’s key tools including GuideStar and Foundation Directory.
 
This class qualifies for 1.5 CFRE points

Do you want to expand your skills and learn a new trade? Have you considered learning how to code? 
 
With every Fiero Code workout and mission you complete, you’ll unlock gear that you can use to customize your own avatar. You can also display your work in a custom portfolio and share your favorite projects with parents, teachers, and friends. You can also register to compete in up to three Fiero Code Challenges each year and submit your projects for a chance to win prizes.
 
Through fun and exciting activities, you can learn coding languages such as:

These sessions are for students in 3rd grade through adults learners.  
 
Attendees can bring their own laptop or Chromebook or use one provided by Grundy Library.

Teen Board Game Night

This event is the perfect opportunity for you to hang out with other teens, test your strategic skills, and discover new board games.
 
The Library will provide a variety of popular board games, such as Monopoly, Bananagrams, Uno, and Catan, as well as some new and exciting games like Disney’s Lorcana for you to try.
 
So whether you're a seasoned pro or a newbie to the world of board games, this event is sure to be a hit.

Little Scientist

Each month, kids can dive into hands-on activities that explore the wonderful world of STEM.
 
This month we will be exploring technologies that take us under the waves to explore the ocean and its unique biodiversity.  We will enjoy Virtual Field Trips, Underwater adventures on the PS5, and using Artificial Reality to explore the size of the Blue Whale.
