Grundy Walking Club Tuesday, March 14 & 28 1:00 PM You’re invited to join the Grundy Walking Club! Participants meet at 1:00 pm on the second and fourth Tuesday (March, April, May & June) for a one mile stroll around historic Bristol Borough. Registration is required. Please register here. We will meet inside the Library before venturing outdoors. Remember to dress for the weather, wear sunscreen, and comfortable shoes! Escorted by a staff member, Club members will enjoy the scenery of the nearby Delaware River, and the benefits of fresh air and exercise in good company. We’ll be striding the very streets walked by industrialist and U.S. Senator Joseph R. Grundy; Michael Dougherty, a U.S. Medal of Honor winner; and Averell Harriman, a ship manufacturer and WWII U.S. diplomat. A one-time 2023 signed waiver of participation is required to walk during these events. The waiver is available at each meeting date.

Trivia Night: Women's History Thursday, March 16 7:00 PM Join your hosts Laura and Barbara for a Trivia Night on the Kahoot! gaming platform. This month's trivia night theme is Women's History. In what year was the month of March declared Women's History Month by the U.S. Congress? Where was the first place to grant women the right to vote? Women make up what percentage of Congress? If you know the answers to these questions, we invite you to show off your knowledge during this trivia event! This virtual event is appropriate for families and individuals. How to proceed-- 2. A Zoom link will be emailed to you before the start time. 3. Join the Zoom event. If you can, log-in about 5-10 minutes early. You'll meet your hostesses Librarians Laura and Barbara there. 5. Video Game Club Monday, March 6 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM Elementary ages only. Do you like video games? Join us at the Grundy Library on the first Monday of the month for video game club! We will be trying out games on our Nintendo Switch. Registration is not required. Activity Hour Monday, March 13 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM Stop by the library for a fun learning activity! This session will be focused on building financial literacy skills. Great for elementary ages, but all ages are welcome! Code Club Tuesday, March 7 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM Are you interested in learning to code? During Code Club, we will be learning the fundamentals of HTML, Scratch, and Python coding. New themes happen each month, so you can choose to attend whichever ones you want! Students can bring their own laptops or Chromebooks or use one provided by Grundy Library. This drop-in program is for students in grades 3-10. Virtual Code Club Monday, March 20 Join us on the 3rd Monday of the month for a new activity or challenge!
