Grundy Walking Club: Autumn November 22 at 1:00 PM You are invited to join the Grundy Walking Club! Participants meet at 1:00 PM on the second and fourth Tuesday for a one-mile stroll around historic Bristol Borough. Participants can enter for a chance to win a $100 Dick's Sporting Goods gift card. Drawing is November 22, 2022. Due to ongoing construction on the immediate Grundy Library property, the walk will begin and end from the Library's parking lot located at the corner of Dorrance and Radcliffe Streets; access to the lot is made via Dorrance Street. Remember to wear your sunscreen and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather. A one-time 2022 signed waiver of participation is required to walk during these events. Story Time & Craft: 3D Pom-Pom Friends Tuesday, November 22 at 10:00 AM Join us for a live virtual story time followed by a craft! We'll be reading books, singing songs and moving around! Then we'll work on one of this month's Take & Make kits together: 3D Pom-Pom Friends! Supplies for this kit as well as instructions on how to complete it will be available to pick up at the library via curbside pickup starting November 1. Makerspace Live: Polarized Motors Wednesday, November 16 at 4:00 PM What do you need to make a motor? Not much! In this quick activity, you will make a simple motor using nothing but a battery, magnet, and a piece of wire. Join us for this virtual event to learn how simple tools can create really cool science. Attendees will need to get the Makerspace Live Kit from Grundy Library prior to this event. This kit will contain all the materials necessary for this project. Registration is required.
