Share Your Story! How to Create a Legacy Book Tuesday, October 4 6:30-7:30pm Join us for an inspirational writing class to learn how to create your own legacy book. Share the story of your life to pass down to loved ones and future generations. Participants will be provided with prompts to help craft your story and share memories. Presented by Christine Michael, an avid traveler, scrap booker, writer, and lover of life. She believes you have more to say than you think! Come and create a story of your life. This is a virtual program via Zoom. Participants will be emailed a Zoom link on the day of the program.

Butler Paranormal Investigations Tuesday, October 11 6:30-7:30pm If you hear something go bump in the night, who are you gonna call? If you live in the Butler County area, you'll call Butler Paranormal Investigations (BPI)! BPI is a team of paranormal investigators based right here in Butler County, PA, focused on using science to document the unexplained. At this program, BPI will present evidence they've collected of paranormal activity, explain their process and the equipment they use, and share stories of memorable experiences.

Middle Grade Author Talk: Christian Shane
Thursday, September 29 6:00-7:00pm Salmon Survivor is a story about navigating loss and grief after the death of a loved one. Due to the loss of his favorite fishing partner, Jack gives up his love of fishing and journaling, until he is forced to travel from Pennsylvania to Alaska to meet his grandfather. Local author Christian Shane will discuss his debut Middle School book, Salmon Survivor. There will be discussion and a fly tying demonstration.

Chapter Book Club
1st-3rd graders meet every other month to discuss a book, learn some stuff, and create a craft to go along with the story. Copies of the book are available at the Circulation Desk to read before the book club meets. Registration required. Thursday, October 13 from 6:00-7:00pm Ghoulia by Barbara Cantini Ghoulia lives in Crumbling Manor with her Auntie Departed and spends most of her time playing with Tragedy, her beloved albino greyhound. But things aren't as easy as they seem for this little zombie girl -- all she wants is a friend. She tries to venture past the manor's walls, but she can't hide her pale green skin or the deep purple circles under her eyes. The other children will be afraid of her, and no one will want to be her friend. But when Halloween rolls around, Ghoulia hatches a brilliant plan.
