Singularity Technology, Wilton Library’s FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics team, is looking for mentors and sponsors for their upcoming season.
Do you have technical skills or experience with FIRST robotics? Are you a maker looking to get involved with the community? Are you a business or individual with funds or equipment to donate? We need you!
Mentors are adults who advise the team as they build and program their robot for competition. Mentors can be engineers, programmers, FIRST alums, teachers or anyone with skills to share and a willingness to learn and have fun! The ability to commit to attend regular meetings (Wednesday or Friday afternoons) and competitions is a plus. Mentors must be willing to complete FIRST Youth Protection Screening, which involves a short New Mentor training and background check.
Sponsors are individuals or businesses who help the team through donating to help fund our season.
