MPL Connect
                                   July 2023
From the Director:

It looks like we’re in for a long, hot summer and MPL is here to help you stay cool! In addition to our locations as cooling centers where you can use our computer labs and check out the latest books, we have two ways to borrow the latest e-books for free with your library card. Libby and cloudLibrary are two free apps that you can download on your Android or iPhone to read e-books or listen to e-audiobooks. Our selections offer titles for all ages in a wide variety of genres. Audiobooks are a great choice if you’re planning to travel this summer. Simply borrow a title from our vast array of titles on your phone and play them in your car to keep everyone happy and engaged.

Need help downloading and navigating Libby or cloudLibrary? Stop in or call us for assistance in English and Spanish, or poke around on our e-branch web page at https://mcallenlibrary.net/books-more/e-branch/. Let us know if there is a title we don’t have and we’ll do our best to add it to the collection.

Stay safe and stay cool!
