Join in on the Summer Fun! We are one month in to our summer reading program, Enjoy a wide range of virtual programs for people of all ages, including live performers, book clubs and more. The program is free and signing up is easy. Earn badges by logging your reading and activities. Earn a prize for reading five books and completing fun discovery and investigative activities this summer! Great news! Our Bookmobile is back on the road! Staff will visit housing and rural sites once a month, and senior facilities twice a month. See our full calendar online. Patrons are not allowed onboard at this time, but they can place holds in advance, and staff will bring the items at the next visit. Staff can also check for items onboard. Patrons can put items on hold online or by calling 408-293-2326 x3060.

You can catch this performance on Facebook Wednesday at 3 p.m. Can't make it? Teen Battle of the Books Some of your favorites will go head-to-head against others, and you can help decide which title is the best teen book of the year! Our last round saw a lot of newer books stopped by long time favorites. People who vote will be entered to win a prize.

Make an Edible Terrarium Join us on Wednesday, July 15 as we make edible terrariums. We will be demonstrating different delicious culinary takes on this classic gardening craft – the possibilities are endless! Register for this program, which will be conducted on Zoom. That's where you can also see all of the suggested supplies for the activity.

Sign up for Virtual Yoga Classes Every Friday morning during the rest of July, we are hosting virtual yoga classes. Learn the basic yoga postures which are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated.

Shut Up and Sleep! How are you sleeping these days? Many of us have had sleep disruptions because of stress related to the shelter in place or COVID-19. We're hosting Shut Up and Sleep! with Dr. Anil Rama, faculty at Stanford University Center for Sleep Sciences and Medicine on July 11 at 3 p.m.. Learn about sleep and how it shapes our lives.
