Enjoy the Summer with the Library

Summer is officially here, and while it may look a little different from prior years, the Library is here to help with reading lists, virtual events, entertainment and more. In addition to our Dig Deeper: Read, Investigate, Discover! Summer Reading program, which runs through the end of July, we have many online events and resources available for you to enjoy.

Explore our Overdrive collection to find Summer Reads and books about The Great Outdoors. Our librarians have also created booklists with a summer theme and our Teen librarians have their recommended reads. Kids have many reading options, from discovering other cultures to investigating how things work.

We have a variety of interesting online events happening as well. Every day at 3 p.m. on Facebook, there are family-friendly activities such as book clubs, art, live performances, STEAM, and LEGO club.

For teens and adults, we are offering virtual workshops about our online resources, how to start a business, craft activities, book clubs, special events, and more.

If you haven't signed up for the Summer Reading program yet, get started now and start earning badges towards a prize!  Happy Reading!
