Lasso Yourself a Library Card! September is Library Card Signup Month. This year, Wonder Woman is serving as an Honorary Chair, a fitting role for someone armed with the Lasso of Truth! Your library card can help you discover the truth about unknown things, or help you get lost in a wonderful world of make believe, like Wonder Woman and the Justice League. If you live in Santa Clara County and do not have a library card with the Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD), or would like additional household members to have their own library accounts, the instant free eCard is for you. On a temporary basis during the COVID-19 crisis, eCards are available to all residents who live within Santa Clara County with a valid residential mailing address (P.O. Box not accepted).

Health Order Enforcement Underway The recent wildfires were a good reminder that we need to be careful about what we breathe. Wearing masks is a great way to reduce risk. In the County of Santa Clara, it's also now the law whenever we are out in public. Enforcement efforts have started, currently targeting businesses who are out of compliance with County Health Officer orders. Wearing a mask is a small step we can all take to protect our health and that of our community.
