Visiting the Great Outdoors National Park & Recreation Month

Did you know that California has more National Parks than any other state in the nation? Among our state treasures is the one pictured above, Yosemite. While we may not be able to travel abroad with ease this summer, most of these jewels are available to visit. What better way to get away and connect with nature during National Park and Recreation Month? The Library has travel guides to help plan your trip.

There are also a number of State and County parks that you can explore together with your loved ones. The Library even offers free entry to a select number of local attractions.

For readers who want to get away without leaving home, we have eBooklists that will take you to many exotic locations.
