Taking Care of Ourselves During Mental Health Awareness Month

May is a time when we traditionally focus on issues around mental health, including stress/anxiety and depression.

This year, the need to talk about our state of mind is all the more important given the many changes to our day-to-day lives due to COVID-19.

The Library has a number of free resources that can help, ranging from our mindfulness app Headspace (that's also good for kids), to journals on topics related to health, to online meditation courses for beginners and intermediate levels.

Teens, scroll down to see a new meditation video dedicated to generating kindness.

Navigating the Unknown
Teens, if you're feeling stressed, frustrated or having trouble dealing with difficult emotions, try meditation.
