Help Grow Our Collection
Are you looking for something specific in the Library collection that you can't find? Maybe a book in a newer edition, another format like an audiobook, or another language? Or maybe the title you want is not listed in the search results at all.

You can submit a request to the Santa Clara County Library District using the Suggest a Purchase form available in your Library Account. These video tutorials can help guide you through the process.

You will be able to track your requests within your library account. If approved, staff will automatically place a hold on the item for you.

Library staff reviews and evaluates each request based on the Santa Clara County Library District Material Selection Policy. The average request takes two to four weeks to process.
SimplyE Update
The New York Public Library, the developers behind the SimplyE service, is ending support for resource. It will also be removed from the SCCLD website on Wednesday, January 31.

Due to this, SCCLD encourages users of SimplyE to transition their eBook and Audiobook usage to another one of our many providers including OverDrive/Libby, The Palace Project or Cloud Library. Read this blog for more information.

If you have any questions about moving away from SimplyE or using one of the other eMaterial sites recommended, you can always ask a librarian for guidance. We also offer video tutorials and How-to guides on our website. In addition, Morgan Hill Library is offering drop-in Libby, eBook and Audiobook help on Thursday, February 1 at 11 a.m. Stop by the information desk and please bring your smartphone, tablet or Kindle.
