Our Summer Reading program, Read Beyond the Beaten Path, ends on Sunday, July 31.

We still have a number of Summer Reading related events, including live performers, crafts, and STEM programs. Visit the Morgan Hill Library on Wednesday, July 27 from 12 -- 2 p.m. for the Bay Area Discovery Museum Try-it-Truck!  Find our full calendar here.
Great Books of 2022
Every year our children’s librarians release Great Books lists. These recommendations are organized by grade level. There are also great non-fiction titles for all ages to enjoy. Find all of the books here.

Our librarians are always happy to help you find the right read! Ask them if you need some new recommendations.

TEENS AND ADULTS

Vote for the Teens Top Ten Books
Every year, the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) creates a teen choice list, where teens nominate and choose their favorite books from the previous year.

SCCLD’s teen librarians want to hear from you! Get your votes in by Sunday, July 31. The nominees are listed here.
Weekly Craft Kits Available
Teens, make sure to stop by your local library to pick up weekly Grab & Go Craft Kits.

Each bag features a different craft with instructions and supplies included. Create things like rock cactus or a paracord bracelet. All bags will be handed out on a first come, first served basis and for patrons ages 13-18. Learn more in this blog.

Our libraries offer additional craft programs for teens. Find our full calendar here.
