Turning the Chapter on a New Season

Autumn is officially underway! This is the time of year for change – leaves change color and fall from the trees, animals prepare for winter by migrating or stocking up food, and the weather changes.

Get out and enjoy this colorful time of year. Santa Clara County Parks has a number of upcoming events that will get you outside and enjoying nature. Take the whole family out to explore the great outdoors with these helpful tips from the Children's Outdoor Bill of Rights. Create art from nature with the help of these books or if you prefer to stay in, cozy up with a fall-inspired picture book.

Take an online class with CreativeBug and craft something new, or create magic in the kitchen with these fall-inspired cookbooks. You can also skip the savory and go right to the sweets with these cookbooks for chocolate lovers.
