The Maricopa Native Seed Library is here! The Maricopa Native Seed Library provides free seeds (with instructions!) to help bring indigenous plants into urban home landscapes - and it's now available at PC! Located in our building's vestibule (just inside the entrance), this natural collection requires no ID or library card and nothing to return. Please check our hours and plan to select up to 3 packets per visit. Seeds for a variety of non-native food plants are also available, so get ready to grow good things in 2021!

Library hours extended for Finals & computers are available We are extending our hours for Finals Week, December 14-17 to 6:45am-9:00pm. If your class will be using a lockdown browser, like Respondus, or an online proctor, Chromebooks are not compatible. Luckily, desktop computers with webcams are available to use in the library. Please encourage students to reserve in advance for final exams. For more information, visit our Computer Access guide. Reassure students that workstations are disinfected after each use.

The election may be over, but our campaign continues! With so much information available at our fingertips, it can be overwhelming for our students to try to figure out what's real and what might not be as real as it appears. Fret not: your PC librarians are here to help! Vote against misinformation this spring by contacting a librarian to work with you to develop a library instruction session that will help your students develop the critical thinking skills essential for evaluating information and ideas found in news and other sources relevant to your course. (We are PC Librarians and we approve this message)
