Starting Monday, January 10, the library will change its hours due to staffing issues and COVID-19 concerns. The new hours will be in place through February 2022 and then re-evaluated.

Conference Room Use Suspended Until Mid-January 2022 Due to concerns about the recent increase in COVID-19 transmission in the DC area, use of library conference rooms has been suspended until mid-January. Group study rooms can still be reserved, but are limited to no more than 3 people.

Winter Storytime Starts January 20 Winter storytimes for preschoolers is tentatively scheduled to start in-person on Thursday, January 20. Registration is required as seating is limited (due to COVID safe spacing).

Used Book Sale Our next weekend 2-day used book sale is scheduled for Saturday, January 29 (10 am - 6 pm) and Sunday, January 30 (1 pm - 6 pm). Get great bargains on hardbacks, paperbacks, DVDs, and more. All proceeds support library programs and services!

Curbside Pickup Curbside pickup is still available Monday-Friday from 12 pm - 4 pm. Once you received a notice that your hold is ready, you can park in one of our 4 reserved spots in front of the library (on N. Virginia Ave); then let us know you are here by either using the meeScan app or calling 703-248-5233.
