"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers." L. M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables
US, TOO, Anne Shirley! The colors are dazzling, the air is sweet. We're resurrecting our best soup recipes and breaking out our coziest socks.
This month it is our distinct honor to welcome Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Russo. It will be the second event in the Dan Bancroft Memorial Lecture Series, named for our beloved Board President who passed away last year. Mr. Russo was Dan's favorite writer - and Dan would be overjoyed to welcome this prestigious guest to YPL. We hope you can join us.
