You may remember, back in early 2022, that we asked for your thoughts on how to make Mondays extra special. One local troublemaker responded with a full menu of breakfast items he wanted us to serve on Mondays. Monday morning friends on the first open Monday of the New Year. Stop by on Monday, January 9 from 10-11 AM for a quick snack, flipped by none other than our snarky library supporter, who assures me he knows what he's doing. |

Despite the fact we're closed tomorrow, Monday, January 2nd in observance of New Year's Day, we can't believe that it's only been a year since we added Mondays to our open hours--it feels like it has been part of our schedule forever. This extra day of service let 11,008 people come into the Library in 2022, and we hope for even more in 2023! |

If one of your New Year's resolutions is to be more informed about the world around you, please take note of our new current events discussion group, Fridays at 3pm in the Wheeler Room. This is designed as a casual gathering of individuals interested in having a civil discussion about the week's events. If that's not your speed, try attending one of our Camden Conference events. If your resolutions have more to do with decluttering or finding a new hobby, join us for a Craft Supply Swap toward the end of the month. Bring by your unused fabric, yarn, or other supplies or pick up a new material to try yourself.
PS. Save the date! Saturday, February 4 is Take Your Child to the Library Day! It will be a winter wonderland event for kids and caregivers.
PPS. Our Climate Series will be resuming in the next few weeks, stay tuned for more information, or check out last year's talks. |
