MAY EVENTS
The Library will be closed Monday, May 29 for Memorial Day. Bozemanlibrary.org never closes!
Are your books due?

As of April 24 there are still 1,942 items checked out from the Fall 2022 Book Bonanza 6-month checkout period.
It’s time to bring those items back!

After items are 30 days overdue, they are marked as lost and you will be charged for the replacement cost of the item.
You helped us save money this winter, and we don’t want you to be penalized by not returning your items!

If you have questions about whether your books are overdue or what their due date is, call us at 406-582-2408.

SymBozium: Ethical Considerations at the End of Life
Wednesday, May 24, 2023
7 PM at the Museum of the Rockies
Death. It’s one of the only certainties, yet we rarely discuss it. Join a thoughtful conversation about the end of life. Our panelists will explore the ethical complexities of death. Medicine has the technology to prolong life, but is this always desirable? How important are advance care directives? What about physician-assisted death? What alternatives are available? Should heroic measures be offered to extend a painful existence? How much control do patients have in deciding on their end of life care? What does it mean to have a "good death"?
