On September 21st, the TAB group will help prepare October's Book Boxes, in which teens pick up a themed box that includes a YA book, snacks & little treats! The TAB group will help assemble these boxes and pick the books that will go inside them. Those who attend will automatically be enrolled for a box.
Will It Waffle
Come ready to experiment with food you wouldn't expect to cook in a waffle iron, all to answer the age-old question, "Will it waffle?" Come hungry and be willing to experiment!
Decorate mini-pumpkins to be donated and used as decorations for the library on October 2nd! Each youth will receive 3 small pumpkins- one to keep and two to keep at the library.
Sign up for our new Book Boxes! This is a quarterly program, in which teens can sign up to receive a box filled with two books, crafts and treats. The books will be checked out to your library card, and you need to return the two books and box to the library when done reading, but you get to keep everything else in the box! Theme is Scary Reads.
Dungeons & Dragons
Join our weekly after-school D&D group, which is open to new and experienced players! The two Dungeon Masters alternate weeks, so it would be best to pick one D&D campaign and come every other week, so you stay with one DM and epic journey!
On your day off school on October 9th, come to an Art Workshop led by professional artist Kyle White! His Sketchbook and Nature Workshop will help you stop and listen to nature around you. In addition to drawing, you will create some fun haikus together!
Join our after-school Teen Time in our newly remodeled teen department! Come hang out with friends, make crafts and play video games in a space that was created just for YOU! Come anytime between 3-5 pm on Mondays-Thursdays.
