The only “piano windtet” worldwide, Ensemble 4.1 is brought to life by four wind soloists from top German orchestras and one unmistakable pianist. Since its inception in 2013, Ensemble 4.1 has performed recitals in China, Pakistan, Austria, Germany, Algeria, Canada, and the United States. Tickets are available for purchase (cash or check only) at the door on a first-come, first-served basis 15 minutes prior to each concert.

Advances in Forensic Chemistry for the Courtroom |

Forensic chemistry analysis is essential in criminal evidence analysis and court proceedings, which includes the use of fingerprints to identify suspects. Incomplete prints, called fingermarks, are often not useful to identify individuals, but a new chemical technique shows promise in understanding their composition. In this talk by Emma Macturk, master’s student in chemistry at William & Mary, learn the science behind forensic analysis that could decide outcomes of criminal investigations. |
